In questo caso si tratta di 'Together We Stand' di Myd
Al secolo Quentin Lepoutre, parte del collettivo Club Cheval e con all'attivo produzioni sulla label Bromance di Brodinksi, negli ultimi anni ha siglato alcuni brani per Ed Banger. Ora si avvicina l'uscita del primo album di cui 'Together We Stand' è l'anteprima.
Così Myd definisce il suo nuovo progetto:
Together We Stand” talks about a community of people who devote their lives to the community. I wrote most of the album when I was on tour, and after the release of my first EP on Ed Banger, I saw this community around us and the electronic community [as a whole]. It’s a bit too cheesy for me to translate it like “hey, everyone is dancing on the dance floor and girls are beautiful,” so I chose a different way. I translated it as if it was a community all living together and dedicating a part of their life to the music. It’s almost talking about a cult.
Il brano è principalmente basato su un campione vocale dello stesso Myd e un ritmo house 4/4 accompagnto da una melodia contagiosa sia per l'ascolto personale, sia sul dancefloor.
Il video (opera di Alice Moitié) è molto simpatico e rende l'idea del presonaggio :)
